Electrician in The Villages

We have wired new construction single family homes at Densan Park in The Villages. It is a community that keeps building, and the electrical package has a few requirements you do not see anywhere else in Central Florida.

Working in The Villages

New construction here runs on a builder's schedule: rough-in when the framing is ready, inspection, then trim-out to a fixed date. That suits us — it is the same way we work on custom homes closer to Orlando, and it is what we did at Densan Park.

The distinctive part is the golf cart. Carts are primary transport in The Villages, and a garage needs a properly installed dedicated charging circuit rather than a household receptacle running an extension lead. It is a small item that is easy to get wrong and awkward to retrofit once the drywall is up.

Beyond that, the packages lean heavily on lanai and outdoor living power — ceiling fans, exterior receptacles, summer kitchens and screen enclosure lighting — plus the usual dedicated circuits for laundry, kitchen equipment and air conditioning.

Permits

The Villages spans Sumter, Lake and Marion counties. The Sumter County portion is permitted through Sumter County Building Services, so which county an address falls in determines the inspection route.
